Mama Buka
Mama Buka is a vertical phone game about running a Nigerian buka. You pick a city — Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, or Calabar — name the stall, and open with just enough cash for the cheapest shop and ten dishes. That money is a bank loan.
Cooking is a fast tap sequence on one aluminum pot. It starts empty. Each step swaps the pot: palm oil, then pepper, egusi, and ugu; water and garri, then a wet slap to turn eba; plantain hitting hot oil; jollof simmering. Fufu is a smooth wrapped ball, not a cassava root. When the plates are ready, the lunch rush starts. Customers stand at the counter, their order ticket above them, and you match the bowls before their patience runs out. Street noise sits under the serving, horns and all.
You only get two hearts. Opening the buka spends one. At zero, you watch a short ad for another. After the rush, the bank is waiting: pay ₦10,000 from the till, pay later and let the interest climb, or watch an ad to freeze it for the day. No account. The game remembers the stall on the phone.
